No doubt there will be a slower group. Progress on my car is not going as I would like. I'll be there but ..............

Jared at Pelican Parts 12-10-2003 09:35 AM

Have they decided on a set route yet?

dd74 12-10-2003 09:40 AM

I like the route we were on last time. I don't remember it that well, however.

How about everyone else?

Bob's Flat-Six 12-10-2003 09:54 AM

The last route was a winner IMO. It had a little of everything.

Todd,
Be there and bring your son.
I'm a slow poke so you'll have company. Plus,I'm sure if I run hard right now I may cut a tire.
:)

GrindingGears 12-10-2003 01:50 PM

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it on Saturday, hopefully next time. Drive 'em hard.

MotoSook 12-10-2003 02:02 PM

Oh man you guys sUk! It'll be months before the temps get in the 60's here in the Midwest.

I know you guys have never seen a Doppler Radar with white and blue on it, so here is what we are looking at today. And this week, it's going to be in the twenties!

I hope the fault lets go tomorrow! :D

Just kidding of course! Have a fun and safe weekend!

I'm planning on going, thought I bring the Aston Martin DB4 for a change, trouble is, it handles like a pickup truck compared to the pcar, but hey, once in a while I've got to take it out. Hey Bobs Flat six, do you want to meet again under the bridge of the 118 at Topanga?

dd74 12-11-2003 08:20 PM

Oh, man! I have to see the DB4. Love those cars! :)

Typical Fish 12-11-2003 10:38 PM

Hey, where exactly is this Gelson's? I am coming up from the LBC...

To get there from the intersection of the 10 and the 405:

Bring a jacket. It should be partly cloudy, with a high of 66 degrees. (And a 0% chance of rain.)

Typical Fish 12-11-2003 11:12 PM

Excellent, thanks guys. My car is up at TRE getting a new top, but I will be bringing a friend's SC Targa. Should be fun to compare.

Wayne 962 12-11-2003 11:32 PM

Ferraris allowed?

speeder 12-11-2003 11:49 PM

Yes, Wayne. See you there!

Bob's Flat-Six 12-11-2003 11:53 PM

Only if it's Red
Glad your coming, Wayne SmileWavy

Bob's Flat-Six 12-12-2003 12:01 AM

And for those of you who my not be aware. Take it easy on PCH as they work it hard with radar. ;)

It is kinda Funny (Jack and David) That I put up this warning and of course you guy's were paying heed? That I just happened to be in the right place at the right time so you guys could bring them down from the stratophere.
I might have been blocking the view of that sheriff too?

Good Karma or what?

singpilot 12-12-2003 07:22 AM

My schedule has freed up. I'll be there in one, and possibly both of the p-cars. See you at Gelson's.

Jared, I have a set of Fuchs 15x7's with P6000's on them. I think they are 225's. Wanna use them for the weekend?

Jared at Pelican Parts 12-12-2003 07:26 AM

Wont fit, but thanks!

Hey hugh, can't wait to see the DB4.

Man, I almost want to bring the BMW now to keep up with the big boys. The 914 just doesnt have the grunt.

What do you guys think, brign the BMW or the Porsche?

Yeah, we were sorta flagrantly disobeying the speed limit on PCH last time.

As for cops, I think the route we took last time is good, I would personally avoid Kanan or Latigo.

Ahhhhh, nothing like running in the old neighborhood...

singpilot 12-12-2003 07:30 AM

Stick with the p-car. My experience has been that the flow tends to be fast up front, but the middle and rear end of the pack is pretty reasonable.

Are we all bringing FRS radios again on Channel 9/11?

So the front runners and tail end charlie can warn of dangers?

I'll bring mine anyway.

sammyg2 12-12-2003 07:30 AM

Saying that Latigo canyon has twisties is kind of an understatement. Last time I was on that road I could look out my door window and see if my tail lights were working ;)
