I just got the new issue of excellence. A guy has reproduced, almost completely from scracth, an awesome 910.
Truly a sight to behold ![]()

I am in awe of that guy's abilities. To be able to machine titanium pieces in his garage, and to have them come out looking like that. What a spectacular achievement.
And now he's getting started on car #2 of the two-car deal (917, I think).

I loved the R Gruppe sticker on the 910's window.

Jack - can you scan photos of the 910? I can't get to the newsstand yet.
Thanks.

Not sure if it's kosher to scan the entire article, but here's a couple of photos:

What's not to get. That car was (and now is) a work of art.

I actually read that article twice because at first I was in disbelief. Truely a work of art.

I am working a similar deal. The car isn't done yet, but I will sell "to finish yourself".
If anyone interested, let me know......... ![]() |

A real one
Here's a real one. For a mere $500K
![]() http://www.foreigncoachworks.com/910.html The day I saw it I was picking up my humble SC. I was so excited, it was hard to appreciate what I was seeing!

I just recieved my new Excellence yesterday as well. Since this subject did not get brought up sooner, does that mean everyone is getting them around the same time now? Instead of the west coast guys recieving their's a week after Kurt.

Got mine 1 week ago in Mich.
BTW, I'm still trying to figure out why this guy decided against spending $25,000 for an original body. Seems like he's GOT to have more than that into sweat equity, etc. in building his own!!!! ![]() Rick: what's the story on your's? Is this an original body? |

Funny...I just received the article yesterday..
Not taking *anything* away from this guy's work...but do others see what I seem to see? Some shots of the car look "spot-on"..yet there is one picture that seems that the proportions are all wrong. Anyone else? ---Wil Ferch

As of Sunday in Baltimore, they still have the one w/ BB2 in it. Eastcoast is typically latter in getting theirs, right?
Nathan PS: That 910 is hot....so much work must have gone into that puppy...wonder if they looked at the gunnarracing web sight for ideas ![]()
