I picked up a painters suit and some cleaner and tack rags. I have the little filter on my list. Over the weekend I wetsanded everything. I thought the primer seemed a little to "textured" in spots. I am gonna have a freind come by and show me how to get everything setup before I spray color. He paints streetrods and stuff so he is pretty good.

I may take friday off and spray color. It looks like 74 and partly cloudy. We'll see if the forecast holds.

Take your time on the prep work it will pay off at the end. Make sure you have good lighting and great ventilation. If your fans are not putting out the overspray fast enough, the fumes will come right down on your paint and give it a dull finish thus, you have to buff later to bring out the shine. Cool project, please share the pics when you are finished.

I am taking the rest of the week to go over each panel and be sure the wetsanding is up to my specs. Friday afternoon the color goes on.
Dennis? You were over this way and didn't stop? Bad Dog! How is the MFI monster coming along?

![]() I seem to spend all my "free" time with the kids and none with the car. I need to clean out the fuel system and get stuff timed up right. We may be over that way this weekend as well. Maybe I should stop in and see the blue monster!
