Great addition! Pictures are always great and this eliminates some frustrating work - I have a folder where I keep the "small" files I create to post and send - now I can copy the ones I post off the site to use as Email fodder too!

Off to the paint booth for a spray - jamb work and trunks, parts etc done in the garage paint booth.

Slower, but alot faster than my back and forth dowsizing before!

Another! This is great - can the server handle the new picture volume??!!

My day in the paint booth (23 April) - Sealer coat

300 kB - 18 seconds - cable modem @ 3 MB/sec - sure

Back home in Marine Blue Metallic - prior to 2 weeks of color sanding and polishing. 20 Sec - 500 kB

Assembly ongoing - engine going back in Saturday.

Takes a little longer. But I guess that makes sense. A 400k image, originally.

Wayne,

I agree that it seems to load just a little bit slower.

And, for whatever reason, the "Upload Finished" confirmation box remained blank without showing the new image file name, nor did it then automatically add the image file to the text of my message in the reply box as its done in the past.

I had to go "View Source" of the (blank) "Upload Finished" box in order to find the new image file name, and then copy and paste it to the text of my message. Any idea why?

Tim

The reason why it's slower is because you're uploading a larger file. The file must get uploaded first, then my webserver resizes it. If it's a really large file, and you have a very slow connection, it will take forever, and the webserver will "timeout" and kick you out...

Wait for the page to fully load...sometimes it doesn't work for me if I don't wait long enough for my status bar to say 'done'.

You attempted to upload a file totaling 132409 bytes. This exceeds the maximum limit of 100000 bytes (100k). Please go back and select a smaller image.

Something wrong with javascript and your browser security settings, or you have too many windows open...

That would make sense if the file I uploaded were indeed large and had to be resized.

But, my brake photo that I uploaded above (a) isn't particularly large in its original size (696 x 655, 85KB) and (b) doesn't appear that it was resized at all by your server as the posted file remains the same size as the original.

Connection speed has never been an issue for me in the past, and the only window open is/was my browser.

Smilies aren't working for me either, FWIW...

Tim
