Hey fellas, Eugene (at Pelican Parts) and I were talking about making a run up to the Mulholland area this Sunday. We're not set on a time, meeting place, or route, but figured some other Pelican heads would want to join up. Maybe an early meeting at Gelson's - Calabasas?

I was just going to suggest one myself.
They did one last weekend that I missed... maybe we could just use their map?

Howard has another thread for a 'not Mulholland" run also if you want to look into something different.

Yeah, looks like there's going to be a number of runs this weekend. The "Not Mulholland" run, the Ortega run, and this run.

Mulholland's fine with me, but there were a few complaints about tight course for faster cars, so I thought we'd try another.
We all bought these cars to exercise them, and I'm amazed how rarely it's done. I can only polish the thing so long, and would like to have the breakfast run option every weekend.

What are you guys, drug dealers? I'll be there. I think it needs to be early. Hey porcupine, I was there last week. Do you have a red 911. Try to place everyone with their real name and screen name is a mess. But again, I am kinda dumb. I'm the guy w / the red 930. Jeff

11am?!?
I was thinking 7am or 7:30am meet time, then start driving a half hour later. Like Todd said, we've gotta avoid the crowds of cops and bikes that'll show up later. Any suggestions on the route?

btw, i like to get started between 6:30 and 7am. i usually end up at the village coffee roaster in calabasas around 9. sometimes there are a bunch of european cars there.
"not mulholland" might be a nice change, but i prefer the tight twisties and my own pace. plus i like to explore. boy am i antisocial! ![]()

How about 7am at Gelson's - Calabasas. Fire the engines at 7:20-7:30ish?
http://gelsons.com/stores/stores.asp?store=Calabasas Howard, you put together a very nice route last weekend. Any ideas?

Instead of the long run on Potrero out to PCH, why not include Yerba Buena to PCH then down PCH and coming back up Decker + throwing in other roads on the way out and back or whatever? Or something? Anybody? Hello?

![]() Problem with run DOWN Decker, Encinal, or God forbid Latigo to the beach are the dropoffs. Kinda like running a hillclimb backwards, and the temptation to lift throttle is too great. Higher driver ability required, so not on my watch. That's why the long run out Portrero and then the uphill blast, it's safer. But I'm the follower this time. Just want to end up @Super Tommy's for my breakfast burrito fix. Burrito!
