Awesome rides on this thread!
Update our 3.6 Conversion going on 12+ years with many track events and street miles just freshened it for the second time, new bearings and springs.
Had to replace the original fuel harness, evidently the factory low voltage wires that go to the injectors was a factory recall item.
Check your stock 3.6 fuel harness for brittle or broken wire insulation.

Rowing the 3.6.

Yep, "under-cover" 92' 3.6L in the G body. Fun doesn't even begin to describe it!

Well I'm sub'd but don't think I ever posted. Mostly done by me personally with a thread about the build. Now at a great local shop adding a Retro A/C system so I'll drive it more through the summer.

How much did the ITB upgrade run you? Have you done a before and after Dyno or did you just rely on your seat of the pants impression?

Built the motor with ITBs before it went in the car it, so no before and after, but it scoots. Previously I had an SC that I swapped from CIS to ITBs and it was a noticeable difference. No dyno runs with the CIS, but with the ITBs, it put down 200hp/189tq at the wheels and was internally stock, so they certainly make a difference, but to unlock the full potential, you're going down the rabbit hole of pistons and cams at the very least.

For those with a 964 conversion, can someone please tell me of your coil packs hook up to both distributors on the motor? Apparently o only have one wire hooked up and there isn’t an attachment from the distributor to the second coil pack. Thanks.

Porsche Crest Factory Level Fuel Lines for 3.6 Conversions

For those of you also considering a 3.6 swap, here is a FYI-

Many of these conversions are using aftermarket Lines & Hoses of the AN type.

Unknown to many, some of these AN type Hoses are actually made in China. The best way to tell is to peel back the SS Braid. The mfg info MUST be printed on the hose. If not there, this is an inferior Chinese product.

I thought I would show what can be done using Porsche approved German E-85 Rated Metric Hose & Fittings.....

This is the best E-85 Rated Hose available, and with a SS braid, and yes, made in Germany.

And when a custom fitting is needed and we cannot buy them from Germany, we have them machined locally.....

For info, please email me. I do not accept pm's as I cannot send photos via pm.
