I'm just saying I think on the next batch, whenever that might be, you should throw in one with red carbon fiber and the vinyl letters

Seems the longer we go on with this thread, the more we come back to something that looks like what the factory originally supplied!!

The substitute is great but since the original is NLA it would be nice to have something that looks like it.

I posted early on in this thread about making a mold. I didn't because I didn't want to step on Thom's foot. Now, I'm sorta glad I didn't although it looked like easy money. (Well, nothing's easy money in the fiberglass biz.)

Now, what other ideas have surfaced in people's minds? Like the cut out version. Wire mesh? Perforated steel? Some other design beyond a simple flat panel? Water jetted?

Here's your chance, Milt! I got tired of making these at home (you of all people will understand this) so I had the guy who makes the heater tubes for me make them. The problem with that is the expected delivery time is just slightly sooner than the day the sun turns into a chunk of coal.

If anyone is interested in a old center reflector that is ruff shape to paint, and color match your car, let me know. I have one that would look great with some bondo, sanding, and painting. I got ripped off on ebay (sad thing was, he was a fellow pelican), and have no need for it.

I certainly would be interested in purchasing a panel if someone is going to make another run, or your super slick bumpers Milt (those are really awesome)

I thought Getty made one but could not find on their site. Would be a pretty easy part to make.
