So have any of you "do it yourselfers" found a economical way to replace the lens on 84-89 fog lights? Also why are they heavy? Anyway to lighten them up a bit?

Search for ZOANAS and I think Wil Ferch on this board. They did install some other lights.
If you don't use them though, do what nostatic says ![]() I still use mine. -Chris

Picked up my car from it's tech inspection and oil change -
It's running like a top - Got home and one of my fog lights had a little breakerage... No problem - I have been working on a project anyway to add some more fresh air to the brakes and carrera oil cooler. Looks like a stock carrera - Stainless Steel mesh epoxied to the inside of the housing APC driving light mounted to the inside Lights on with the flash to highlight the guts

As well or better than the existing fogs, which are maginal at best. I just went with the standard driving lap - being low like that does not help on the driving light end... But definitely better than stock

Last question regarding foglight, I went to autozone and found your type, also saw they have something with projector lense look like the pic below.
Do you know if the one with projector lense would give more lighting visibility? Thanks.

Somebody call?? These are Hella 450 driving lights. I do a lot of night driving, and they are flamethrowers. 1 mile pencil beams, and with my relay setup, I can use them with my high or low beams.

A pair of these might do the trick. Carbon fiber air ducts, weighs just 200 grams each.

Yeah, be prepared to get flashed if you forget to shut them down for oncoming cars. They will burn holes through trees.
