How do I wire the tach and the temp/press gauge?

It's time to put the gauges back in, but I don't remember where all the wires go
Maybe someone can help me by matching the numbers and letters in the pictures below?
Thanks

Temperature and pressure gauge:

Let this be a lesson. Always mark the wires when you pull them. I use masking tape with black magic markers. You need to look at a wiring diagram for your car. You did not say what year you have but I assume its a 77 from your signature. Pelican may have a wiring diagram in its tech section. Check it out. The color codes will tell you what wires go where. I would help more but I do not have a 77 wiring diagram. Anything newer than a 75 is too new for me. Good Luck.

Ove,

I would have thought that my 1975 had the same wiring, but maybe it's just hard to see. I have only looked at my temp/oil and here is what I am sure of:

1-B
2-?
3-J
4-?
5-E
6-D
7-H
8-I
9-G
10-BLANK
11-C

I can't see anything that looks like 2 or 4. My #2 is a bulb, with 2 wires going to it, a green with white hash marks and a red with black hash marks.

My #4 is also a bulb with 5 wires going to it:
2 blue wires and 3 red with black hash marks.

Hope this helps.

Rex,

Thanks, I really appreciate your help

I will figure out the bulb wires #2 and #4. What's important is the other connections.

I'll get the tack wiring for you tonight if someone else doesn't beat me to it - of course you'll be asleep by then (time zone difference).

Now for the tach - our tachs are different. I have 5 holes across the top like yours, but I have 4 terminals across the bottom that are all in a row - yours are staggered. Here is what matches:

A-1
H-2
F-3
G-4
B-5

The above are exact matches to what I have. I'm not sure about your 6, 7, and 8. I have, from left to right, in a single row, the following:

Black with purple hash (your E)
Red with black hash and red with white and blue stripe (your C)
2 brown wires (your D)
The last connector is blank.

Best of Luck.

Rex,

I have a spare tach which is just like yours (from the US, bought on eBay). Maybe I'll use it instead.

I installed the temp/pressure gauge tonight. Thanks for all your help

HI your RPM counter is out of a 3.2 and the wiring terminals are No 5 live/ignition, No 6 earth, TD black/purple, taken from a 85 diagram.

Ove, if your wiring is the same as my 78SC, I am happy to pull my gauges and take pictures for you?
