Just run an amplifier off from the IPOD stereo headphone outputs. I did that years ago with a small CD player and the stereo outputs. Just get a headphone jack to left and right coax outputs. Install the IPOD and amp where you want it and use a remote to control it. I don't know all of the IPOD accessories, but there is probably a bluetooth remote that would give you 20' of range.
That way, there is nothing in the dash to bugger up the look.

Cool project!

Tried to have my SC completely powdercoated in a low gloss black a few years ago but couldn't find anyone locally with a baking boothe that big. You may have the car apart far enough to do that. Otherwise, the only proper color for a race car is white!

Those are Lindsey P2s with RSR finish. Fronts are 9.5x17 and rears are 11x17.

Tires are 275/40-17 and 315/35-17.
