When I was first getting into Porsches, ten years ago, I didn't know a thing about Webers and getting my car to run well. You were extremely kind and patient with me and I've never had a chance to publicly thank you. BLESSINGS ON YOUR HOUSE! Long may you wave, my friend.

Good luck. Take a multivitamin...(or A & C for healing).

Steve's doing well, enjoying the codeine and Donna's handling the keyboard. We've been back-and-forthing and he'll be up and at 'em soon. As was said earlier, this was planned, elective surgery for a pre-existing condition that he simply decided to try and get fixed. Much of the surgery turned out to be possible laparoscopically (minimally invasive), so it could have been worse.

Being in Germany, I miss those "Oh ****, what did I just mess up" calls to Steve. He better heal up quick. The Porsche community is not accustomed to his absence. But I bet his wife will just be happy to have him home.
Get well soon buddy! Lee

Yep, Steve W. is one guy I'd like to meet in person some day just to see from whom all this vast knowledge comes from and to thank him personally. Steve, my best wishes for a speedy recovery and a nice rest over the holidays.

Steve,
I get a particular pleasure in reading your posts. I had some, um, ah, medical events, once and they improved my appreciation of all that I had. I assume you have noticed this too. So, enjoy the smell of the roses and git back on Pelican with your generous wisdom.

There are a few guys on this board who post on a variety of topics and always seem to have just the right thing to say. I read Steve's posts even if they are regarding something I know little about (which is most posts) because I know I'll learn something. Thanks Steve, for being so willing to help and share the stuff you've learned over many years.
Steve is not the only one in this group so my thanks goes out to all of the stars of this forum who share great info just because they like to help people. Get well Steve, I'm going to be making a lot of mistakes in the next few years, you have to be there to bail me out!

You took a chance Skinnerd. What if Steve had gone in for a vasectomy?
Hope all is well Steve and fast healing to you.
