Replace turn signal/high beam switch on a 73 911T
Hi,
Anyone have the patience to walk me thru the process of replacing the turn signal/high beam combo switch for my 73T. For instance, does the steering wheel also have to come off, or can I just snap apart the steering wheel clamshell to get to the screws and wires? Looks pretty straight forward just by looking at the switch and the 8 wires/connectors. But thru years of DIY, I have learned that many things can be deceiving. Any suggestions or links would be greatly appreciated. |

If you are replacing because of the high/low beam not working anymore, suggest you do a search as there are several good threads with pics on repairing your existing stalk rather than replacing it.

No matter what you do, you will need to pull the steering wheel to remove the clamshell. There are several bolts holding downthe clamshell behind the wheel and horn contactor ring.
