It hurts to see that Toyorsche in a boneyard.

But perhaps now the builder will start the project we're really hoping for..........modifying a 996 so it looks like a Toyota. Wouldn't that be cool?!

You will grow up someday and want a "real Porsche" with the engine in the back where it belongs and rear wheel drive!

The funny thing is that it looks like that monstrosity was rendered in steel...who has that kind of time on their hands, and money for chrissakes.

I'd be interested in knowing more about the guy who built it, in the same way that I'm interested in knowing more about how serial killers and terrorists think.

I think it's legit. I've seen it on Craigslist off and on for several months now. It's just amazing that anyone would put that kind of time and money into something so crappy.

P.S.

I think it's based on an early Toyota Camry Solara...

"Everything that can be invented has been invented"

Remember kit like this from the early 80's?

I had big plans for that rusted Beetle until I found out how much it cost

I'm embarrassed to post this as this was done by a South Australia company.

It was called the Porrera...

They even gave one away as a prize to the Australian Play boy Playmate of the year back in 1983ish...

The money spent on this would have been a better investment if it were burned for heat.
