Sunrise Run
Ron,
Looks like about six cars so far. This is spur of the moment, I have about 38 on the SEMBC e-mail list and they are just checking in today as I posted last night with them. I'm assuming there may be a few more coming, you should join us - great group of guys! Paul

Yep. Happy to meet up with you if you like Ron.
I'm 2 miles from 295 / 122 in northern RI, will likely take 95 to 495. I'll have my 9 YO son Michael with me, so the top will be up (nutz!). ![]()

Great fun guys, a pleasure again...
Even with the 9-car mad 3-point turn spectacle. Would have loved a pic of all the cars trying to turn around concurrently. ![]() Seriously though, I think we need some high-tech countermeasures package for our cars to evade the incoming ordnance from the Deer Hunters. Better yet, we put a set of antlers on Michael's Bimmer & send him through first... ![]()

SUNRISE with SEMBC
Fred,
So let me get this straight, We would send Michael in first, with his BMW to distract all hunters, Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rather than just antlers why not mound a Bucks head with the antlers to his hood, it could then second as a hood ornament on the road, and maybe he could get a gig pulling a sleigh once a year. I do believe we need to see a mock up of this, I'll work on that. It does concern me however, that we are out pissin' off the only people that are carrying weapons, where is the logic in that. I mean joggers, bikers, etc. are a much better, and safer choice, Thanks all for joining us, a fun run! Paul

Ok, so it sounds like we need callsigns for this group of guys...
I hereby nominate Jim G as "Tickets" and Paul as "Slacker". Any other suggestions? ![]()

OK, now "Slacker" is a little over the top, don't you think Fred? We have "Dr. Jim" for Jim L., Jim G. should be "Ticketmeister", he needs a little of the German flair!. Michael should be "Buck". I'm thinking you should be "Bleu Balls", for 32degrees and top down.

ROFL Paul! Someone told you about my wife, huh?
![]() Just what I needed after a long day raking leaves. ![]() Hmm, what about Peter with the Turbo? Maybe "The Auctioneer"? --> "Do I hear 70? 80? 90? How about 100? 130 going once..." ![]() I wanted to blow the family off so badly on Thursday - we hit about 68 degrees during the afternoon, bright sunshine. Since I couldn't go driving, I had beer & played horseshoes. Successful on the 1st item, not so much on the 2nd. ![]() Have a great weekend guys. I have an old car buddy of mine coming down from the Metro-North area tomorrow afternoon, maybe 2-ish, and I'm going to roll out the exotic beers I drained the account for last week... On the Menu: Ommegang Three Philosophers (2006 & 2007) Ommegang Rare VOS Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence Ommegang Witte (Then I can say I've tried the line) Duvel Brother Adam's Bragget Honey Ale Wailing Wench Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Hooker Blonde Ale Fuller's Vintage Ale Hacker-Pshorr Oktoberfest Magic Hat Jinx Sam Adams Light Mich Ultra (Amber) Mike's Hard Assortment Lindeman's Kriek Lambic And when the soft stuff's gone, I stocked picked up a fresh bottle of Walker Black Label so I could take it easier on the bottle of Walker Gold. ![]() Y'all are welcome to swing through Cumberland & say hi, raise a glass & park the car for awhile. Fair warning: The Pats Game IS going on the tv when it's time, so if you're still here then, be prepared to watch. I have a small place, but my door's open. Anyone interested, shoot me an email & I'll give you my number & directions if you want.

Fred - it looks as though you're planning to watch the game from under the table? I'll send some tickets by courier so that you can keep track of things.

I'm looking at it like Le Mans... it's an endurance event, not a sprint.
