SEMBC Ice Run
As I cruised down through the Halifax farms @ 6:30AM , watching the sun rise, glistennig ice droplets on the grassy fields, Georges red nose on my tail, and that shiny black look to the pavement that none of us like to see, I thought "Who's idea was this".
Well, six of us showed, six of us survived, and we had a fun day warming up the oil! I have always thought that a sign that says "Road Closed", actually means "Road Closed", but each P-Car run I learn something new. What I learned yesterday is when someone says go ahead, that they should be the lead dog. I'm sure you guys were snickering as I headed out as the guinea pig! Thanks alot. Where's the snow? It hasn't looked like that in central MA for weeks! I have snwobanks in the driveway 4' high....
Hopefully in the spring I will be able to make it down.... you guys are having too good a time with these breakfast runs. |

I'm looking at this coming weekends' weather and thinking we may have the oportunity to do another drive. If there is some interest I will try to put together a new route. (not that I've heard anyone complaining ), I think roads that are actually open and "not Closed" might be a good idea. Maybe an early run down the coast on Sat. morning.

Dean, we are having too much fun.
Come down and join us one of these weekends, it's a great group of guys and Paul usually finds some roads where we can crank it up to 11.  Did you guys make it out to Laguna for the bike race this year?

Hey Jim -
We did make it back out to Monterey for MotoGP and Superbike. Had a great time again, and was fortunate enough to meet Casey Stoner and talk to him in the paddock, got a pic with him and an autograph. The racing was great, weather was great and I came back with some great photos. I've been keeping an eye on this thread, and I will definitely start making it to some of the runs.
