I'll be there for spectator reasons only - (my car's not pretty enough either), but I hope to meet some of you folks. Black Carrera 3.0 with NH plates (There aren't many Carrera 3.0s around so it should be easy to spot!

Well, I made it to the MoT but did the circle up to the museum and turned to exit. I saw a handful of 2002's, Opels, Audis and P-cars and lots of umbrella's. Too bad I spent a few hours getting my car ready!
Sorry Paul, I saw your '69 but my kids out voted me on stopping. Time to plan another run!

Despite the Dreary weather there was a pretty good turn out of cars and people. Saw a lot of old friends and of course some great cars. One of the nice stories of the day was a fellow I met named Scott who had a nice 67S. It had been his Dads' car and his Dad had started the restoration project on the car but sadly past away. The car sat for a few years, then Scott and his brothers finished the car and here it was running and showing on Fathers' day. I'm sure his Dad was very proud and smiling yesterday!
SEMBC runs coming up soon! regards, Paul

Wanted to put in a note about Pauls' car. It was one of the coolest rides there and had a great story of it's own. Actually, Paul is a great guy and although I just met him at the show and he has no idea who I am, he gave me through a very thorough explanation of all the mods to his car. Impressive.
I was there showing a BMW, but as an 911SC and Boxster owner, the P-cars get my vote ![]()

Look @ this.
I'm in... Boston Chapter Ultimate Event Autocross Test and Tune Sunday, July 13, 2008 - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Boston Chapter Driving Event Autocross Test and Tune Sunday, Jul 13, 2008 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Event Registration Registration currently is open Monday, Jun 2 through Wednesday, Jul 9 Location Devens Airport Ayer, MA Event Coordinator Steve Hazard We will run a Test & Tune Autocross school July 13th. This is by far the most fun, bang for your buck school on the runways. Why? Anyone can attend. You DO NOT have to be a BMWCCA member to register for this event. You get more seat time in your car during the day than any other event we host. Instructors will drive your car if you want them to. These regional instructors hold multiple driving awards, both with local Solo 2 programs and national events as well. The event has limited registration to insure tons of runs for each student, or driver. Low Instructor to student ratios Suspension setup feedback by the instructors Sit in other drivers cars for runs Go for rides in instructors car ! Use the exercise areas for hours of practice! True Test & Tune drivers will be given special waivers on worker assignments. If you manage your time properly you could get 40+ runs this day. $75 entry fee. Registration is limited to about 50-75 people (depends on the number of instructors) Registration opens June 2nd, and will be sold out within 48 hours! Make note of this. See you on the runways, Steve |

ALMS Fri, Sat. Lime Rock
We've got a small caravan of "Breakfast Club" boys heading up early Sat. Morning. Looks like about 5 cars, leaving Duxbury at 4:30AM, getting to the park around 8:00AM, parking in Porscheplatz parking area. I'll give you guys a call, perhaps we can park together, and tell war stories.
Looking forward to seeing Steven H and his 67S. Paul

Prime
Prime Porsche Experience at Gillette Stadium????
Did anyone attend this yesterday?? I should have taken a camera for pics. Prime Porsche of Westwood, MA set up an auto-x course in the parking lots with two Caymans, a Boxter RS, a Cayanne, a Cayanne GTS and a 997 to tool around the course with an instructor. for two hrs. It was pretty cool since I went in the afternoon and there were only about 15 people so I had two stints (2 laps per) in each car. A buddy went in the am and there were 35 people nad he never got to ride in the 911. The Boxter sounded awesome and was a blast to drive but the 911 was the just awesome in every sense: Power, grip, steering, everything was just superb. Oh, forgot too mention they were all tips! I have a better respect for the Porsche Tip tranny than ever before. Even in the Boxter I thought it was a great setup. I drove home in my '88 Carrera and it felt one step above my ride on lawn mower! I just now have to figure out how to finance a new 997 for a DD!
