Might make a good support vehicle, and lots of room for parts!

Showing up is more important than how you get there...........just ribbing ya The swap meet is always a good time. Plus now that Paul is an R Gruppe member he is going to have to continue tricking out his ride.........there are always vintage goodies at hershey.

Can talk to the wife, who has an extended-length Montana Van w/ GPS. Longer runs, we should consider having FRS Radios, they come in handy for stoplight breakups, etc. I also have AAA+ for long tows home.

Can't miss a run on my Birthday (39!) so, I'll do what I need to & be there for the Quabbin run.

As always, thanks for putting it together Paul.

Jack, if you need an extra set of hands, let me know, happy to help. I did the brakes front & rear this past summer on mine, and did the hoses prior on my 84. Not sure how different your older one is though. I've got plenty of tools (flares, etc.), but my Motive bleeder needs to be replaced. Hmmm. I should place an order with our host today for some other stuff too... heat footwell blowers are coming on WAY late (30 minutes into ride), and my temp gauge never gets much higher than the lower solid block. I wonder if the t-stat's stuck open. Hmm. More projects.

Andrew Conti and I will be driving down in my Chevy Express Van on Friday morning with a S$%@load of parts to sell. It would be great if we can follow somebody down for the ride.

And hopefully we can meet most of you while we're there. And if you mention your from the "East Coast R Gruppe" we'll give you a discount on all parts

How about you guys putting a parts list together so some of us can do some "local" shopping and avoid having to lug a bunch of stuff back to Mass?

The calipers are the standard "M" type for a 73T. The engine serial #6108533 is from a 71 911E Targa according to the Red Book. I parted out the motor because it had low compression and an oil leak in the rocker shaft area. If you need more pics let me know.

Checking in from Denver (vacation). Looks like we have a caravan - great. We need to work on getting a start location and time, a few pick-up points along the way etc. List of some repair parts, etc., just in case. I have emailed the "Breakfst Club" gang and should pick up interest from some of them.
regards,
Paul

I'm usually still skiing the last weekend in April, but if the conditions are garbage I'd love to go to the swap. Anyone from E Mass/RI going that wants to let me tag along?

Hey dezzmo, did you ever part with those map pockets? If not, would you like to? I work in Bristol and could come by with $$$ any time...

Additionally -
Does anyone in the area have a motive or similar brake bleeder I could borrow for a day?

SEMBC Quabbin Reservoir Run

We are still on for the Sat., March 22nd Run. Starting point will be the Comfort Inn, Strubridge, Ma., meet at 9:00 AM. We will head north/west from there and do our loop and lunch. Hoping that some of you guys that don't get down to our Southeastern MA runs can make this one. Several people are coming from out of town and will be staying at the Inn. Rooms are available if you want to stay Fri. night. Plenty of gas stations right there for a refuel. Let me know if you are coming so we can make arrangements for our lunch spot.
regards,
Paul

Garage
Man... out here in Southampton, mass., my garage doors are still frozen with snow piles in front. Time for the ice pick.

How long of a run time wise do you figure? I've got obligations in the mid PM.

Quabbin Run:SEMBC

Joe,
We will meet at 9:00AM in Sturbridge. Expect to do the loop up and around The State Park and Reservoir. Back down the east side, stopping for lunch in Ware about 1:00, most may choose to head home either before or after lunch
Hopefully the weather Gods will be with us!
