Paul,
The 10th looks good to me, the run your planning will be allot of fun. The roads are familiar to me in that area, kinda in my back yard. Bob |

Ok, I wrote the 10th on the calendar, but I remember something being that day (who knows, might be this..!). The only other thing I know of coming up is seeing Sara Evans on the 15th... should be set to go along.
Sorry I wasn't able to join you guys this weekend, I did the Quabbin run with another group (yes yes, traitor, I know), but I got to swap cars with a modded '87 928 S4's driver (WOW). Was a fun day, put a lot of miles on that run - RI to Palmer MA, rte 32 to rte 9 to 116 to 112 (NW of Northampton), down to the main section of Northampton where it turns out they had no power, had lunch, and departed, returning back via the Pike. Top Down the whole way, of course. ![]() FYI, I also brought my FRS Radio last time... if others feel it's appropriate, I'll bring it again. I may have another one kicking around somewhere too.

Fred,
Who were you traveling with on the western side of Worcester? I am a regular here in Southampton and have a route on 112, 116 and rte 66. that is phenomenal ride. I would love to get a group together and hammer down.

I was wondering who Dan was Joe.
![]() From RL: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/showthread.php?t=381077 Afshin (928), Carl (928), Bill (996), John (997), Charlie (986?) & my Carrera. Nice group of guys. The thread above posts a suggested routes map for the future also. Figured out what was supposed to be on the calendar for 11/10 guys... Providence RI has a Beer Festival going on... $35 / all you can sample if I understand correctly.

Southeastern Ma. "Breakfast Club" Nov. Run
Guys,
We are all set for this Sat., Nov. 10th for our Nov. run. We will be starting in Berkley, Ma. at 9:00AM. From rt 24 take exit #12 south on rt 140. Take exit #10 off 140 and head south on rt 79. Approx. 1 mile to Dunkin Donuts on right (what did you think, that you would get Eggs Benedict, "Breakfast Club" means you are driving instead of eating a big breakfast, much better for your health). Anyway, hope to see you there, may be our last for the season! We are having discussions about doing F1 in Braintree this winter! regards, Paul

Dan,
The plan is to try and do a Southeastern, Ma. run once a month, seasonal of course. We've got a great group of cars and people. I will continue to post events on this Thread. Please PM me your e-mail address and I'll stay in contact that way also. Get that car up and running! Paul

Do you guys want to end the fun run at F1 for some karting and food/beer afterwards? They have tracktime open after 2:30 when the sat league finishes up.

Jim,
I can't pull off F1 after the run on Sat. Have a large honey do list for SAt. afternoon and evening, and I have scheduled work appts. for Sun. so I can run Sat. AM. I will send out an e-mail tonight to the gang on the list and see if there is interest. Have about 12 cars lined up for Sat. and I expect there will be a few more! Look forward to seeing you Sat. regards, Paul

Paul -
I started a group like this a few years ago and registered the "ducttapemotorsports.com" site (now defunct, as it turned out later I found out there was a 911-related DTM company - no association). If you'd like, for clarity, I can put a quick site together for announcements for the Breakfast Club, up to you. We also did monthly breakfasts for the Taurus SHO club in New England, and started a separate thread for each to reduce the clutter. Just some thoughts. As for F1, I'd love to, but I don't think I'll be able to swing it this month... funds are a little light right now and I should be good. You guys enjoy though. Rubbin's Racin' and if you ain't winnin, you're losin'. ![]()

Hey Paul,
I'm in. My brother wants to know if he can tag along with his M3, I will be bringing my project 77 so it might be nice that I have a back-up lift home if something fails, as I put this car together myself. The green S is trapped in my fathers garage under two large oaks that fell in our storm on Sat., the car is OK but the garage is in need of some help. Jack. |

SEMBC/Nov. Run/SUNDAY due to weather
Hi guys,
The weather forecast for Sat. seems to be going downhill each time I check, rain and possible snow showers Fri. night and Sat. morn. This drive really needs a bright sunny day with dry roads! We will have the run this Sun. same time , same meeting place. I am sorry for any inconvience but it seems to make sense to make the call now so people can plan. I have adjusted the route with a staging point for those that might need to leave early. I hope all of you can make it! Jack, please bring your brother with the M3 along. Glad to see the S was not damaged, I've been dreaming about that car since the last run, can't get it out of my mind. regards, Paul

Paul, I will see you in the AM unless I hear otherwise from you. I hope you have heat? Does it work? At least we have a head start with your car sleeping in a nice gagage!
Bob

Is the meeting place/time still the same?
Hey Joe, I grew up in Southampton, the roads you mention are killer! 66 has been dumbed down a bit in recent years, but still good. My most recent run through there last year was on my bicycle though.

Bob,
Yes, all set for tomorrow, see you at my place 7:45, we've got 2 cars to meet in Duxbury, another to grab in Halifax. Looks like a good group of cars, one guy is coming up from Conn. It is going to be sunny, foliage should be neat with the cranberry bogs. Heat works great with the new SS Heat Exchanges! Paul
