Welcome Stu, we had several runs/events in that direction this past year. Hershey Swap Meet, a few to Lime Rock Park, a meet at the fellow who bought Steve McQueens 911. 911RIPS is the ring leader. Unfortunately there are a few shady characters among us us, jax911 being the most notorious.
Stay tuned to this channel for updates.

On the issue of a swap meet, I have a car comming after Christmas that I am semi parting, Its a 72 targa with a full turbo conversion. Fenders, quarters, bumpers and tail will be comming off if anyone is interested.

Cuanlee: I also have a set of Ruf bumpers, brand new from Better Bodies that I'm not going to use afterall if your interested.

Maybe we could somehow do an online list of local parts for sale or swap.
I will be looking for 69-73 fenders and bumpers.

Jack.
Jack,

What condition fenders are you looking for? I have a range.

Excellent! Hopefully Dave at TRE will have my car finished in time for Hershey. I bought the base car from Symbolic as an '72 R wanna-be, but it looks like its turning into another bastard outlaw. I've owned the car for two weeks and it's almost down to a bare tub... Lol.

Online Parts Listing for Northeast

I really like the idea of an on-line spares catalog!

Adam, there's not a lot of progress at this point. More like regression when you're stripping the shell! I've been going slowly to try to save the harness intact. Getting it through the tunnel has required a little more patient than I'm used to exhibiting.

Until we get more momentum going on the on-line spares list, I was thinking of holding a January swap meet at my place. I could supply the chili and beer and perhaps some folks could bring along some spares? You could all laugh at my feeble attempts at gutting the car too.

What do you think Noel? I could supply fuel tank, doors, window glass, A/C parts etc. to the inventory. Could you think of some stuff you're trying to get rid of?

More off topic, but I took some photos of that car at Elkhart Lake this fall. It made a wonderful racket.

Thanks Tim. I'll add those to the ones Jim posted. Is anything on our own little thread off topic? Unless it's talkin' about left coasters?

caunlee and others, I have a bunch of parts from sc/carrera and some fibreglass i need to clear out. I definately have some impact bumpers in the pile so if you want to make a trek down into CT at some point it would be great to not have to ship them. otherwise if a swapmeet is going to happen, i can definately put together a list for you cats. as far as ct/ny area runs i know some great roads and will put something together for the early spring if there is interest.
cheers,
felix

Now he has to go for 8 pipes to maintain tailpipe superiority. This could get out of hand.

Hey guys - Brotherly Love, Peace on Earth, etc.
Mark , kept the silver, changed a few things, I do like the idea of eight tail pipes, I think the wide arse can handle them!

Thought someone may be able to help me here.

I'm in the Newport, RI area and need to find someone who can align the front-end of my 84 Carrera Factory Wide-Body, I had to change the drivers side strut as it had a bent spindle.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.
