Correct, those are to set ride height.

Thanks for the replies.
If the shift rod is bent, what is the fix? Does the tranny have to be opened up? Come to think of it, it is a skosh hard getting into 2nd.
The bonehead move was the result of my attempt to remove the a/c mounting bracket from the case. I'll post a pic soon.

Have you changed the engine oil yet? We get a lot of first time oil change disaster postings. Like using an 8qrt catch pan, when the engine and tank may hold 12qrts or more, etc. Good luck with it Matt!! Tony.

Check all flexible connections to the motor including fuel lines, throttle cable, wiring, heater hoses, oil lines and more that I can't think of right now. All together, these things can hold a motor up for a minute or so. Maybe longer, but they can be stressed.

Everything was connected and the motor didn't hit the ground. It dropped but stopped short of hitting the ground.
