Where's my tinfoil hat???

You know what they say: There is no such thing as bad publicity.

Yes, Shane, you are correct.
It should be "strangely".
Thank you for pointing that out to me in time, I was just about to have some t-shirts made with my post written on them...

I am sure you are aware that English is not my native tongue and that if we were to have a spelling contest in Dutch, I would probably win...

I am clicking on the "Spell Check" button in 3, 2, 1...

Oops, seems that you misspelled "hightened" as well...
It should be "heightened"
LOL, it even says your last name is misspelled, so I guess we cannot really blame you for the t-shirt typo either, you were kinda born with this condition

This is really never going to die, is it? it just gets funnier and funnier though.

I've never used spell check, I'm afraid to hit the post button anymore.

i just usually don't have time and don't care... the sad thing is the printer changed it on us and we both were so busy, we missed it on the proof.

Doh!

oh well, look at all the fun we all would have missed.

Spellcheckaphobia: the fear of using a spell checker while doing meaningless tasks such as any club having to do with the inferior SC. This malady is usually found in conjunction with Plotters Syndrome:a tragic condition where the afflicted person thinks that a Porsche SC (although a fine automobile in its day) is somehow superior to the later and much improved Carrera. Victims of this terrible disease are continually downgrading the superior Carrera and yet at the same time, doing upgrades that are already on the Carrera to the inferior SC in an attempt to make the lowly SC almost as good as the Carrera. Indications that someone you love has Plotters Syndrome include: replacement of chain tensioner, improving sway bars, increasing wheel sizes, and most tragically, insisting that the 915 transmission is better because it is weaker and harder to shift correctly.

mca - badges artwork is done... had to make a couple of refinements for the new manufacturer, but it will make for a better badge I believe in the end. Hoping to post the artwork tonight or tomorrow so I do a poll to see how many are still interested in badges. I do not want to over-order these.

The shirts are getting redone. Basically, the orginal mis-spelled shirts will have an applique print stitched on in a fancy stitch. Should make for a pretty nice tshirt. Hoping to post pics soon, but might be another week on those. I hate it has taken so long to sort them out and really appreciate everyone's patience while we do.

Here is a sneak-peak at the fixed shirt design...

Badge art

Here is the badge art. If you are interested, please email me with the subject being "SCWDP BADGE ORDER 2009" please. I need to see how many of these I should order, without overdoing it. Price should be somewhere around $40-50 shipped.

I can't believe the SCWDP is still going so strong.

And to think Leland formed it so long ago.

Man, I guess I'm just kinda left out and stuck in the middle.

I have an SC, but it contains a Carrera motor. In the next year it will probably end up with a 930 transmission and some 73 RS body work except for the 75 IROC style rear decklid. So exactly where do you class a Frankenstein car?

The Carrera motor is where its at, the heart of the car.

Go with your heart man... if that does not work, use your VIN to decide! (we'll take you)

Stupidus shirtus plotimus maximus bumpus... (been one of those weeks)

Hey all, we decided to just have new shirts printed. We will probably still do the applique idea at some point, but for now, the shirts will be as they were originally intended, only spelled correctly this time... Shirts are supposed to be done Monday.

I also am still trying to gather numbers for badge interest. Need about 50 to make it worth the effort. Please email me if interested.
