Okay, I bleed SC, but I've been sitting on the sidelines of the SCWDP until now. (Mostly cuz I was too cheap to buy a badge at the time. I also have some unresolved decklid indecision.)

But I just took a look at the 32C thread.... it's on!

What does each group plan on doing?

Carrera: We hope people will recognize us as a real car
SC: We are going to dominate the world

Kinda the same, right?

hmmmmmmm. It's kind of like "do I want to play with the cool kids or not"? World Domination has to be cooler...

True but SC owners are cool and we know how to grow a proper mustache.

I'm not surprised the 32 guys are flocking to register in Lemming fashion...its in their blood.

We SC guys are quietly minding our own business...quietly evolving...ready for our moment...

Eastern Creek

Wakefield Park

Mockup for the Bell intercooler

Oh yeah, I am also an owner of a lightweight early car (1971 as above) and I have to say they both rock, on different days and for different reasons.

For the track, the SC. I eat V8s in the twisties and with the supercharger I expect the straights will no longer offer the equalizer. I was hanging and passing Carreras before with the exception of Rick's sweet Carrera RS (highly modded!)

I've driven a few carreras, RS's, 964s, owned a few 993s and driven a 987 and a cayman. I respectfully submit that Ive already voted with my $ and thats SCWDP.

Eat it 32 ;-)

I'm sure the Jetta registry could also summon 100 in a week.

I was tossing around slogan/motto/battle-cry ideas this morning... I came up with these two. If the german translation is not quite correct, please let me know...

#1 - Kugel-beweis (bullet proof)

#2 - eine Kurve auf einmal (one curve at a time)

One might say that the SC definitely has a bit more evolving to do than the Carrera...

Number two is for 32C It basically says A curve; once. After that they break down.

The correct German must be somthing like "eine Kurve nacheinander." or Kurve nach Kurve nach Kurve. But check with a German guy, dutch is close but no sigar.

Huh?? Let's search and see how many threads there are of Carreras "breaking down" and CIS problems.
