Quick Question Pertronix/Points (Ive searched

Hey Guys ~

Currently in the process of changing points to the Pertronix.

I removed the points & wire connector from the distro housing. Then ran the Pertronix black & red wires through hole in the distro housing, these wires then hook up to the coil.

Here is the question: What do I do with the wire the that was connected to the points outside of the distro housing? Tape it up??

Pleas help the sun is out... Thanks.

If I'm correct, the wire of which you speak is for your Tach... Also, It may require that you contact Petronix for the answer as I remember when I had a 2.4 engine in my car, I had to call Petronix for the correct wiring diagram. Their number is (909) 599-5955 (They're located in San Dimas, CA) and probably not open until Monday.
