Hey! That's my car!

Where did the picture come from?

I did ONE track event in the last 8 years without my ducktail....when the car was painted I had the original lid done and it sat for years unused. The track was the shorter track at NJMP, so I figured I could run without aero....I definitely felt the difference.

Anyway, I love the look of the ST, and thanks for making my day.

Great looking car! What size wheels and tires are your running?

It either came from the Early 911S Registry or some Pelican thread. Yours is a 1971 911S, as mine is, right?

Wonderful pics. Keep 'em coming! Can we also get some pics of 911SC's, 911 Carrera's, 930's, 964's & 993's?

It's just a pic I've never see before. It's funny to scroll through a thread and see your own car!

It's a '71T, for a while I had a 2.2S in it and now a 3.2. The wheels are Lindsey 8's and 9.5's, though I just sold them and went back to 7" and 8" 16's for Spec 911. Ducktail goes back on, as does a Carrera script on the side.

Anyway, cool thread!

Flieger,
Your car is one of the best that I've seen. I just picked up an 1980 911 as a project and am inspired by your car to try to do a similiar thing, but with body style that I have. I hoping for more pics of wingless/tailess wonderings to help keep the inspiration coming!

Thanks but I have not posted any photos of my car yet since it is not strictly "wingless". I consider a ducktail to be a spoiler, not an aerofoil, but still a "wing". This is my car.

Here's another wingless wonder. This is actually Rob Dickenson's 1969 911S cafe-racer. This is the car which inspired the "Singer 911".
