Driver side door lock not working. Please help

88 911 Cab. My Central door locking system and my driver side door lock stopped working today. I can not push door lock down from inside or lock or unlock from out side, and also blew the central locking system fuse. My question is once I remove door panel, what should I look for once I get the panel off, also does the round door knob just pull off? By the way, would any of you Cab. owners be interested in a cheap and good idea I came up with for a wind screen. Thanks Don

The round door knob has a small cap covering a phillips screw.
Use something thin to pry the cap to prevent hurting its edge.

Once the screw is removed, the center knurled round part (knob) can be removed.
The door knob escutcheon must then be unscrewed off.

Can't answer the power lock issue.

Before going through the trouble of removing your door panel, I would focus on determining why the fuse blew. After replacing it, does the passenger side door lock work normally?

I would definitely be interested for my 86 cab, but you should start a separate thread for this.
Also tell us where you are located, so maybe a local pelican can lend you a helping hand. You also need to post pics of your car (that should be mandatory! ).
