Bilstein shock/strut insert rebuild cost?

What is the typical cost of having a set of Bilstein shocks and strut inserts rebuilt?

$65 each at the Bilstein Factory 3 weeks turn around or $95 each for 3 day turn around. They can also tune it specifically to your car's weight. call Bilstien, San Diego, speak to Clarence. They have a webiste, I believe they have a east coast factory as well.

My inserts are there for rebuilding right now and they (Bilstein) are a bit behind...so plan on a bit longer than 3 wks turnaround. Just a heads up.

All of the service work/rebuilding is done at the California location.

Dan & Draco, help me here. Rebuilding the shocks/struts at Bilstein runs about $65.00 in SD. Granted I have to remove them, ship them, and reinstall them; but why does a rebuild kit run $120 or so then? Is it the same thing I would get if I were to purchase new cartridges?

If so, I'm pullin' all 4 tonight.

If Bilsteins came equipped on your car then they have 911 part numbers (new, off the shelf ones do not, of course). If you are looking for originality than have them rebuilt and keep the shocks/struts that came with your car from the factory.
