Well today rain all day long.
And with the rain no luminosity thus excuse photos. Then for the belts of preservation that gives it. ![]() Rest more than has to finalize quotes and to reproduce it alu more thick. For support Stopwatches (who arrive next week) Fixations of stalks for the drawer of the car radio. (As it so a long road we shall have some music I have to hide the HP under the dashboard) ![]() ![]() You have notice the size of the plate which is going to receive the switch cut-off , I expect for have it in hand and I could then determine the height. Otherwise I have to work on the masks of the mechanisms of belt. ![]() Which did not produce, too long and not enough covering on the back. Of the blow I made the following modification. Cutting on the high plane ![]()

We take out the piece and we found the length of the future flap.
![]() We cut in the good dimension ![]() We are then going to practise a heavy loss on all the height in approximately a 1/3 of the thickness of the plastic to be then able to fold it and pull down the back part. ![]() We can then pull down and leak out to be able to fix the high and the back parts ![]() We fix the whole one is recover with the skaď and it gives us this ![]() ![]() And with the mechanism of belt ![]() It is then necessary to make a small leg U which will be fix at the top by saw it back of the visible plastic passer-by on the photo. This leg comes to clip under the metallic plate which is on the support of the mechanism of belt (no photo because no luminosity for a photo with my GSM) and now the result : ![]()

Thus yesterday evening not liking it any more I worked on the support of stopwatch,
It will look to that: ![]() The second is on the way in ....... I also prepared my mask lock of limps in gloves Indeed there is no door on a RSR but a hole on the place of the hole of lock thus I am going to make a black plate screwed instead of this hole (in red) ![]() ![]()

Well the crucial stage of the rear fenders is behind us. And it is a good thing because what a difficult job, fortunately my two friends JF and Fab was there, because only it would have been impossible mission. René, another friend and I served as "Arpettes" (little helping man) and we especially took a big lesson.
First of all the presentation of the extension: ![]() Then the cutting to have just one centimeters necessary for the "soyage" ![]() Put back in position to prepare the weld. ![]() And it is gone for the weld, at first some point of weld. ![]() Then the weld, with always JF in the hammer and in the heap ![]() Then grinding of the weld. ![]() sanding. ![]() Then application of a putty iron. the same for the second side ![]() With a break "pizza" always in the cheerfulness. ![]() ![]()

For a perfectionist like you, mon ami, I think there can never be an end!
But it does look like you will have a car you can drive fairly soon. What are the "holes of the cash deck" which pizza (et biere) allowed you to weld up? Are they where the sheet metal screws held the cosmetic sheet metal under the door from fender well to fender well? The one which has the hard to put back in rubber protective strip? |
