To me, the only way 8 & 9's std offset work are to use less than optimal width tires along with jacking the car up to a higher ride height.
See photo above.... ![]()

9x15s do not fit in the rear unless you are at Paris Dakar ride heights.
Had to sell them, sad day, should've kept'em. at least they went to guy building an honest IROC tribute car. ![]()

Why not go with 8"(944 turbo) & 9 x 16's? The Hoosiers tire height is the same as the 15's.

as mentioned, looks like the Braid wheels will suit the width you're after but they only list std offset.
http://www.braid.es/wheels/products/competition-wheels_p8/special-design-wheels_p18/bz-15_p172.html i've got 8's up front and 9's on the rear on my car but i played with the offset for my fikse wheels. |

their 8 is ET 10 Despite Group 911s claim and as much as I respect him, they do no fit on the front of an SC/Carrera body 911 In the front of an SC/Carrera body car 7 ET23.3 was a factory fit and is tight, 8 ET 23.3 can be used but is extremely tight and will require lots of fender work at any reasonable ride height all aftermarket 8" fitments that work well are ET25-31 in the back 8" ET10.6 was a standard factory fit, 9ET15-12 is a known good fit(ET15 is the standard 9x16 Fuch, lower ETs are getting more aggressive) The only 9x15 factory Fuchs I have ever see all have ET3 and were used on the '74 Carrera 3.0RS which has turbo flairs, The Jongbloods seen here are 8x15 ET25.4 w/ 225/45 & 9x15 ET12.5 275/35 ![]()

To the OP, check out this thread-
8" Fuchs up front on SC Race Car... "newms" is using factory 8's in the front and custom 9's in the rear. Hopefully he can share his source for the 9's. You'll notice the 8's in the front just don't fit, but it seems you can get away with such a short tire and you don't mind the wheel sticking out from the fender. Quote:
