The intent of the thread is that the photo of Magnus serves as inspiration to capture your character in a photograph with your car, very few if any can pull off his style, but each of us has our own style and character.

Don't think too hard about it...

Jerome,

Your horns are on backwards, and you look like you smell like pee. But yes, I think you got it right.

Ah, no. And it's a little disturbing...

In that case, it would be a picture of the car on a wooded lane, in motion, with me behind the wheel smiling (like the Devil). No facial hair, no tats, both hands on the wheel.

The photo wouldn't convey that I might be listening to Led Zep at high volume. Or might not, depending on if I wanted to hear the flat-six song (again).

You look like Magnus's evil spawn.
You looked a lot better at the PCA meeting.

I was in disguise at the GMT-PCA meeting, Pete. This is the real me - at least in terms of how I drive sometimes.

Taken from the Jack Olsen Self Portrait thread:

(The Ultimate "Jack Olsen Self Portrait" Thread...)

It seems that Jack has been a "reverse devil horns" fan himself for some time! (unless this was photoshopped...?)

I'll try to get a photo up later today, we need some more players in this thread!

I didn't think that was quite your "portrait style".... but makes for a good contribution to the thread imo!

(let me know if you want it removed - it's your photo not mine!)

No reason to get all precious about a tribute thread. All in good fun.

I'll post a pic when my car is back from the shop. The hair might be difficult to properly imitate, but I'll figure it out.

One man's "tongue in cheek" is another man's "precious", I suppose.

Sarcasm is poorly represented in text, even good-natured sarcasm.

Agreed, all of this is about fun, and I mean the entire Pelican site.

One guy's over-the-top enthusiasm is infectious, so let's join the party somehow.

Magnus Walker is no saint or hero, he's simply a guy who is happy to share what he's into.

So, keep it all light - the more fun the better, whatever that means to you.
