Interesting thread

...and a great project. I've been thinking about twin-turboing 928 S4 engines for a couple of years, and JOhn Kuhn has been building a couple of them. I do have some thoughts on that, many of which I've put down on this thread: Twin Turbo 928 fixed and back out there terrorizing the streets! - Page 100 - Rennlist Discussion Forums If you're not married to replicating the factory effort of 928 twin turbo in the earlier pictures, there are many possibilities. First question that I would have is what fuel are you planning to use?

An earlier post mentions that the Fabcar 962 build is using an Albins 6 speed sequential gearbox.

Anyone looking for a direct tie to Fabcar is Redstone Performance. They recently moved back to Indy, on Georgetown Rd. Great guys with incredible pedigree. They helped me get my GT2 back on the road and are a jewel of the Midwest. Garnett and Matt are impressive with quite the resume. They are currently building a 935 from scratch. Awesome.

That is a later model 928 32V GTS motor. If he wants to turbo it it should be able to hold together at some pretty amazing power levels.

The engine will be with twin turbo`s. Like the one 962 Porsche built only one of. Will post pictures and videos later this winter. Sorry for not updating daily. Engine has multi layer steel head gaskets, and dry sump... Trond

Very nice build Sir.... I went another way on my first build with a Tube frame mated to a 997 GT3 motor, but will be starting a more correct Ally Tub version some time next year... be great to talk to you at some point to see if there's any do's and don'ts you found during your build.... Keep up the youtube Updates Last edited by GTRClive; 11-02-2018 at 06:55 AM..
