Only a brief moment over 100 getting on freeways. That’s the top of 2nd in the 930. About 145 ish on track.

reading of 240 + kph. '85 Euro Carrera.
earned myself a person roadblock, compliments of the Squamish RCMP.
gorgeous 20 something (female) police officer.
got off with a verbal warning.
that was many years ago - no drive that fast anymore. not even close.

235km/h on the freeway many years ago in my old SC. This was prior to speed cameras everywhere. Got up early one Sunday morning and cracked her open. Just couldn't get to 240 though.

considering top speed is about 140 ish ......

gotta be thinking at least PMOS and bigger displacement, or different engine drop in.

It was on a race track. I had a 964 Turbo that I raced in PCA stock class D
Was at Daytona. Going past start finish the speedo was pointing straight down
Was I going over 180? The numbers say no way but I saw it and I'm sticking to it
I was trying to push the gas pedal through the floor

I made it to the 130+ club in the 3.2 but I don't think I'll ever get to top speed (150).

149 indicated in Minnesota in 2005. My friend, that is. Not me. He drove a *very* similar car though.

Mine was 100% certainly on a track. Charlotte Superspeedway. I would never drive that fast on the public roads.

How Fast?

^^^^^
We did "touch" 160 while on the Autobahn
during our post Euro delivery.

The front end became very light
due to no front/rear spoiler.....

My needle exceeded 150mph once, and did not hit the limiter. I think I'd poo if it hit the fuel cut at 150+.

I don't trust that it was actually that fast but when driving normally, my needle is dead on with my phone GPS. Of course, normal speeds are generally half that.

I doubt I've taken my car over 90 but I haven't driven it in a decade so I don't remember.

135 indicated at the end of back straight at Charlotte Motor Speedway. That was in my ROW 1983 SC. Probably about 130 in my 1995 993 at Road Atlanta.
