Pertronix wiring , help needed mates please !!!

Hi !!! Installing my Pertronix + coil on my 2.4 E / 1972 , i ask myself where to connect the two black wires that comes out from the right side of the ignitor ??? I think it's the impulsion wires , right ??? Must i connect them to the red wire of the Pertronix module ??? There is nothing on the diagram talking of that. Thanks for all input , Cheers, Ced'

Here goes... on my car the - the black lead from the Pertronix goes to a 'T' connector - there it connect to a black lead and a black+purple lead. (image 2). The red lead from the Pertronix connects to a black lead, itself connected to the second fuse down on the fuse block (image 1). Hope this helps. | ||

Wow , really thanks mates for the help. If i understand correctly , the 2 wires that goes out of the ignitor on the factory model , and replaced by the 2 of the Pertronix , must be connected on the black wire of the Pertronix , . Right ???

Assuming you have the right Pertronix for the car, I'd check to make sure the unit is correctly seated (with thread lock) and secure inside the distributor, I'd also check the ground straps on the car. Your last post is a little confusing - does the engine crank or start?
