This week the valves were adjusted, fluids and filters changed, SW chip installed, Dansk 100 cell sport cat installed. The car is much smoother and more responsive with the new chip and cat.

finally took it out for the first day of the year! The weather in NE has been miserable and today was finally nice to shake out the cobwebs after repacking my cv joints.

Started right up and ran great!

I let her sit quietly in the Garage, whilst I took her little Bro, the '68 912, out to Canepa Cars and Coffee at Bruce Canepa's "shop" in Scott's Valley Calif….
I spoke with her when I got home, and she said she was OK with staying home for some 'beauty rest'…..and, that it was nice to get a break from the 912 always asking what it's like to have so much torque, etc etc (you know how little brother are…)

Two for one today

1) finished repainting my valance. Shot clear coat today and looks pretty good for a novice

2) broke right rear taillight with bow of kayak. 32 year old original, ruined.

Saturday I drove it to a Cars & Coffee event after putting the track wheels on it.

After that I drove it to the shop for a rain simulations test to find where all the water is getting in.

Red Rocket

New rear shoes on her, 4 wheel alignment, new CHT sensor, valve adj, trany fluid(kendal), brake fluid flush, oil (BP20W50), and shined her up with some of my favorite Nuba.

Almost 70d out Saturday, so took her out for the start of the driving season spin to Boston for a game and a bite. She ran great.
Nice weekend.

Bench tested my new to me Blaupunkt CD/Radio. It will look perfect in the dash versus the silver, late model style one I have now.

Occasionally glanced over at my car thinking about how much work I still need to do before it gets back on the road while replacing the wheel bearing/hub assembly on my wife's TX
Bummer

On a happy note, I installed my dash pad today.

I didn't do anything to the 911 today, it freaking snowed 2-inches..............on April 15th.

I did make a list last night of ways to take weight of the 911, plus a few chores to do this spring.
