1) Installed new H4's w/city lights;

2) Installed Led's in gauges;

3) Changed engine oil.

Ready for warm weather to show itself.

No, from LTB Auto Sports. Only place I found the real Momo button, not an Asian knock-off.

Re: What did you do to your 911 today?

I'm almost complete in my prototype fuse project. New easier installation. No need to add terminals to the original wiring. Can go back to factory fuse blocks. Installation time about 4 hours.(That's including learning curve time)

Rob T, looks good.

What have you used inside the roof instead of headliner?

Thank you jesper.
It's a carbon/kevlar fibre roof without anything that covers the surface.

Slow, halting passenger window roll-up. Pulled apart passenger door to check regulator function. Pivot pin is fine, spring in correct place. Meanwhile I charged battery. I believe I can now use my window roll-up speed as a voltmeter. Battery was 11.5 V - Charged to 13.8 - much better function. Diagnosis - weak alternator. Stay tuned.

Note add-on power locks and windows. Working fairly well after 7 1/2 years as daily driver. No A/C.

I was told that if you take the door apart and replace the felts in the window frames, you will be amazed how easy the windows work. Supposedly the felts get hard and squeeze too hard on the glass. When I redid my 74 (the windows would barely move) I replaced the electric lifts with manual ones. At the same time we put in new felts. The guy told me that simply changing the felts would have done the trick, but I wanted to convert to manual windows anyway, because I thought he was wrong.

Pulled the heater fan in the engine bay in an attempt to figure out why we have no hot air except when moving

Fan runs on the bench but the connector has been cut off the wires. I can't get any power to the wires though. x2.

Where are the heater control module and relay located?

On a 3.2 if the engine blower fan is not plugged in or functional, the relay will not turn on the footwell blowers. There are several threads on this subject here.

My footwell blowers don't work either and the only power present at the center cotrol box is for the lever contacts so I am assuming the relay is bad.

Where is it located by the way?

75 degrees in central NC today. So, took the top off the Targa for the first time in many weeks and enjoyed a fresh air drive on the back roads. It's what Targas are all about.

I fitted this exhaust (which I made last week),the caps are temporary

Then I fitted replacement PMO manifolds because the old mag ones were dodgy and I think causing air leaks.

Temp in the high 40's. Bright sunshine! Spring is almost here! Removed the cover, opened the garage, backed out the 911 and went for a ride. 100 miles later I was back home with a smile on my face! Put car back in garage, covered it and will wait for the next good day.

Great idea. Where did you get the window felts.

Thanks. I'll take a look in that area.

Nice build thread by the way.
