I left only 2 a/c components in the car, in case someone wants to add it later. I put in power windows, instead.

Stopped that oh so annoying "Click! Click!" That occurs when pin in door stays become worn. 6m bolt .5" long with nylock nut works perfect, no more "Click! Click!" That was an easy, cheap and quick fix thanks to this forum.

I got home from work today, took a look at Huan, and said "tomorrow we drive!". It will be above 50 tomorrow for the first time since 2013 and the rain today washed all the salt off the road. I will drive drive all day with new brake calipers and my newly installed cat. Whoo-hoo!

Just have to avoid all those craters/potholes. :-(

resealed my charcoal canister. the spring in there was too strong and about to pop the end off. must have had a big vacume leak since it was half way off.

That is what I'm gonna do tomorrow! I'm going to drive it the whole day before I leave for a few weeks.

Pretended to do some wrenching on it. But alas it still has a warm start issue.

replaced my broken left rear sway bar drop link. when i removed the old one, it was put on wrong, (the darn thing was on the outside portion of the sway bar) which is why it probably broke! i had a bit of help from my Fantastic neighbor Joe and my Best Buddy PW. tomorrow i tackle ronnecting the windshield wiper assembly... wish me luck.

Went to local Porsche club event then took E on drive to the mountains. Great day and the car ran great. After dinner I started removing all the parts necessary to replace the front spoiler. Way too many bolts and nuts that cant be seen that have to be removed. Grrrrr After getting frustrated, I decided it was time to watch tv and drink a beer. Finish it up tomorrow.

Not All Today

I purchased my '73 911T in Canada in May of 2010. Since then it's been a little puttering, a curse word or six, some long delays and then I stumbled on a self-proclaimed "Porsche mechanic" who quit the business when "they become rocket ships"!! So mine was right up his alley and his price of $25 per hour was right! Replaced or installed:

Header/heat exchangers with stainless steel type
The muffler with a new Dansk
Crossover pipes and all heater and air hoses
Flywheel and clutch, throw out bearing, etc
Replaced plugs, gaskets, filters and some seals
4 new Kumho tires
Interior carpets
Headliner and windshield
All door and window gaskets
Two battery configuration with Interstate U911; wish I had AGM
Passenger seat so it would fold
Front strut sway bar
Front trunk carpet
Turbo-tie rod set
Shocks under front and rear hoods
New sun visors

Had the help of an upholsterer on all the interior stuff and Pelican supplied most of the parts and carpet.

When the snow melts I will:

Tackle two small rust bubbles
Install a 70s Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio
Replace cracked light bezels

and, drive her once in a while!!

Tom

Finally...

I got this ATO fuse panel from Fred Cook back in 2011... and finally installed it.
Forgive the crappy light condition and the iPhone deficiency...

Decided to warm her up and run around the block on dry roads. Had to smack the fuel pump relay before it kicked in. It seems I can never find a perfect one.

I WANT SPRING!

Cooked my rear seat. I was working on installing a dead pedal and unkown to me the shop light I had clipped to the harness bar fell down and landed in the seat.

In the meantime, I left for the hardware store. Somebody at home smelled smoke!
