Really nice looking car! Well worth the investment in a proper A/C system. My dual-Kuehl system worked just as well in a similar climate. Quality stuff!

I have 4 condensers. I have had them for several years. Griff makes a great system and it flat out works as advertised. If I can drive to Savannah Ga in August and be comfortable in a 1985 911 you can to.

Sorry to be so slow in the responce. My life has been interesting lately,. To address the questions and comments:7
Thank you for your kind words about the appearance of my car. It is Slate blue metallic. I have put polished 7& 8s on since the picture. Photos to follow. My oil temps run 210-220 with an ER cooler and fan. The condensers are as follows: Front Kuehl condensor with factory fans and stone guard. The rear condensor is factory, with the factory main fan Dual Kuehl rear of driver's wheel well, both with fans.I also have the kuehl evaporator, Hurricane fan, Tri-flow vents at a total cost of about$3500 , and $1000 in labor. Someone on the thread has said that the pain of the cost will be forgotten, but the ice cold air will always be there. For me there was no option but to have A/C installed to be able to drive my Carrera year round. It completely changes the overall driving experience in hot weather. I still use my A/C in December, when the AZ sun comes out. |
