How do I lock the tranmission for torquing the nuts under shift cover

I need to finish rebuilding a 915 with the final nut torque how do I lock the trans without the mainshaft spline tool?

And finally, I had to remove the mainshaft nut after staking (installed bearing backwards) can I reuse it with red loctite? There was some metal left for a small dimple to stake down but not much.
Thanks guys

Alright, I think the torquing problem is set I'll weld a steel bar to a old clutch disc and drill a hole in it to fasten it to the bell housing.

Still need input on the main shaft nut though.
Thanks as always.

I put it in 2 and 5. I would get a new nut.
