Chris... you have stock engine in car? If so... tightening all is impressive. Did you get to them with or without removing parts?

Karl, I did a similar clean of the ICV valve that you did. It would work for a while but it was like it was worn out and the problem would return. After a few cleanings I just bit the bullet and bought a new one. That fixed it for for last many years.

With luck your valve will stay clean and you will not need a new one. I was not so lucky.

What adjustment is the arrow pointing to? Thats what smoothed our my idle. Lots of hunting when warm.

Is indeed idle adjustment for Motronic HZ. Dug around and came up with some images posted by Ed Sully and Rusnak --- thanks guys... am recycling them.

Disc, not too impressive, as I run a cone air filter, LOL. I used a long extension with a universal joint and it worked great.

I hope you are having fun. Once you get this fixed, you will be so happy. Unfortunately, it is usually more than one thing, so just be persistent.

Sure.... and no hot air blower. Waltz in the park for you! Am thinking to get all that out of the way but mind plays with me---am hooked on keeping it stock for some odd reason.

Cleaning ICV and tightening its 3 internal contacts seemed the cure in my case.

TY for input Chris.

I find when the idle speed is not adjusted properly, my 911 will hunt when warm. Could be something that simple.
