I have not read all 21 pages but the first 2.

Are you still looking for a microfueler?

Have you ever thought of using a Haltech F5?

This is a popular item with the Rotary crowd. We cannot have enough fuel. You do not even want to see the fuel pump I am preparing for my Rx-7.

Here is a link to the item I speak of, it is very useful. All you need to do is select an Injector (or injectors) size you want and have some bosses mounted on your intake tract.

http://www.haltech.com.au/f5.htm

Good luck!!

That outlet is a ghetto rigged cold start connection. Not BAE and bad idea cutting into that silicone bonnet.
Better to use the existing nipple on the back of the throttle body that was for the decel valve connection which you must remove anyway.

To be clear it should go to the top decel valve connection above the TB butterfly. Not the lower nipple. That one should be capped.

See page 1.....

Hey ben, what kind of turbo are you using for reference? I'd like something that i can source off of ebay preferably for the turbo.

I am using a TO4E but our cross overs are made to work with the t4 or the t3 mounting flange.

are there any options for turbo charging carbs?

i know it's possible, but would it be wasting the ITB and free flowing nature of the carbs?

quick answer would be nice...as i just ordered a N/A B&B header/exhuast...the turbo wasn't much more.... and i already have a crank fire ignition system...a 3.6L turbo sounds nice to me.

Possible but extremely difficult. The book "Maximum Boost" by Corkey Bell has a section regarding this, and while it was a long time ago when i read it, i remember it being extremely complicated and at best only good for extremely low boost conditions.

Just wondering if you guys can tell me if this turbo listed on ebay has the proper trim and A/R specs to use for a CIS turbo conversion?

Item #8050274541

thanks in advance!

If I do recall, The "ideal" turbo would have a 54 trim, 69 ar. (T04e)

If you are going to buy a turbo(My 2 have been on order for over 6 weeks now) first realize which turbo you want
Example is that what you looked at is a t3/t4 to4e which is different then a t4 to4e. The inlets are different. the other thing is which exhaust (down pipe side) you will use. we will be using the 4 bolt style hot side so that we can use a bunch of different style muffler not just our own brand.

I hope that helps

As fabbing the plumbing both in & out is not a problem and will be custom anyway, the flanges should be ok UNLESS you can tell me something i am overlooking. In which case, please speak to me.

Other than its obviously a different turbo than these guys are speaking of, they are refering to a new "bolt on" kit similar to a modern BAE. Therefore, if you change flanges their kit may likely not work.

I don't think he was specifically answering the question: Could this possibly work? Ben has done some research to come to his conclusion. There is no ONE SIZE FITS ALL, but obviously some work better with CIS.

No offense to their effort to produce a kit, noble indeed.
I am just a DIY'er.

Most turbos i find listed have two AR specs while most discussions refer to only one AR spec, any clarification on this ???

so will this ghetto rigged cold start connection have any advantages if I do use it as is or should I take it off and keep the kit as original as possible if the bonnet will work without it. These items are like gold dust I hear how hard would it be to fix it back to BAE standard
