Thanks, I made the linkage and mounting plate as well as the intakes. The Bell crank was sourced.

Just got my hot rod back from retuning that required replacing a faulty O2 sensor and happy to report she’s running great now! A stock 3.2 motor converted to AEM Infinity EFI with 46 PMO ITB’s and COP’s. Final dyno #’s reflect 270 HP at the crank with a really flat torque curve of ~220, which is plenty enough for me. Can’t get over how comfortable the early sport seats are BTW.

Hi, I fabricated the parts on a small lathe and mill in my garage. The manifold is a reworked aluminum 964. I cut off the original throttle body and retained the Vacuum resonance flap it is controlled through AEM ECU. The whole system is tapered from 42 mm to 40mm Jenvey's to a final of 34mm.

Carbon fiber look is actually Hydro Dipping.

Another pic of it without air cleaner. The whole package exhausts out of OEM 911 GT3 muffler.

Has any of you guys ever made your own filters for the individual stacks - Singer style? It's a shame to hide those shiny trumpets away:

Making a suitable filter for velocity stacks can be difficult. For the velocity stack to be most effective it needs clean air above and around the lip out to a certain distance (usually 1 1/2”). Dry foam filter socks disturb that area. K&N filters can be adapted but you need a way to mount them which can be problematic if you have non standardized cylinder spacing and/or velocity stacks. Then you can even go as far as intake runner length designed for intake valve harmonics. I calculated the 3.0 Flat six needs approximately 22inches per runner to be effective in this regards. That is from the back face of the intake valve to the lip of the velocity stack. The shorter the runner, the higher the point where useful torque is felt in the rev range.

Lots of black magic and pseudo-mathematics involved. : )

Yep, I too calculated 56 cm from intake valve to lip = 22inches.

I've scheduled some dyno time next month and will try to see if theres any difference with different filters.

For what rpm range are they tuned at 56 cm?

My peak torque is set at 4500rpm. But it depends on your cam duration and intake runner size. And some voodoo stuff......
