^ I'd definitely use MAF for road use over Alpha-N if my ECU was set up for it...I guess if it used for race then it wouldn't matter.

Anyone have any good base maps floating around they want to share?

I will be using Triumph Speed Triple ITBs with stock high impedance injectors , Weber-Style manifolds, SSIs and a free flowing exhaust.

I'm thinking at this point of going with MS2 or SDS. AEM Infinity seems OK, but haven't seen it used on 911 with posted results.

PM me?

- Steve

Steve,
Both Megasquirt and AEM work equally well.....here are some relavent examples using various t'bodies...including Speed triples (x-faktory kits in this case).

If I remember correctly they use the AEM ECU.

That intake manifold is a modified 911 GT3 part (997).

Zurlinden

Regarding the airbox......you might contact Marc Zurlinden at ZurlindenLLC. Marc builds some fantastic 911s and my understanding is that he may have had several of theses beautiful airbox/filters made.

Zurlinden, LLC

al

Thanks, Al and Peter.

Al, I'm going to be reaching out to you at some point in the future. I have been toying with some ideas for a while but I've been too busy with other stuff to actually do much of anything else.

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy car parts which is kind of the same thing.

No further product details online however get in touch with Neil who runs http://www.bsmotorsport.co.uk/index.asp

....... He's receiving my car in January to commence a rebuild, unsure as yet if we're going with ITBs or just sticking with current 98mm p/c and adding gt3 crank and rods

That is Marc Zurlinden's 911....Smyrna Green. Marc builds some of the best , custom 911s on the planet. I had the opportunity to work on one of his projects and I was very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail.
