Fast Flashing indicators 73 T

Hi guys just to run something past your brains , the indicatos are working on all four corners but flash faster than they should . On the gauge the left hand arrow flashers the same speed as the turn signals but the right side the arrow flashes the same speed as the right turn signals but at the same time the left flashes too. When i use the hazzard lights they all flash at the correct speed so its not the bulbs right??? i may change all of them just to be sure .... Your thoughts pelicans.......................................... ............

Are the bulbs incandescent or LED?

hmmm, and all light work, maybe the flasher relay may be going out?

I am not sure about the US version but the Euro version has side marker indicators as well as the main bulbs. I resolved similar problems by changing from cheapo Narva bulbs to not so cheap Hella bulbs and making sure the side indicator mini bulbs were functional. Seems the flasher and the gauge indicator lights are dependant on the correct current load, well it worked for me.

If they were working correctly with the bulbs you have but arent now it is
likely the flasher relay

If cleaning all the earth points does not solve it then try adding additional load to either side with a clip on test lamp. You can make one up with a 10W 12V bulb and clip leads. If that slows the flashing then you know your problem. (Its easy to clip on at the fuse panel)
