Center console. What's this plug?
Hi guys, I'm just about to reinstall my center console and was wondering what this flat white plug is. It is not connected.
While I'm at it, any ideas how to screw in the rear of the console (pointy little tab). I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it with he carpet in place. Thanks, Alex

On my '84 the flat white one goes to the stereo fader switch between the A/C controls. Or it would have, if the switch were still present and in use.

Console screw.
After you have the two forward screws attached,
you will need some type of pick or sharp pointed tool to find the screw hole under the carpet. Then tuck the tab under the carpet & attach with the screw. That's what I did. Best, Gerry
