Broken wheel on window regulator

Removed the power window regulator from my euro 911SC today to replace the outer spring retainer. The broken piece was in the bottom of the door and I could see that it was missing from the regulator. That fix is well documented on this board.

But I found another problem -- the rear plastic wheel had broken. See picture. The broken piece was stuck in the grease in the extreme rear of the channel at the bottom of the window.

Does anyone know of a source for this plastic piece??

I don't believe that the wheel is sold separately.

The regulator may have to be replaced.

Perhaps, someone will chime in.

Best,

Gerry

It is kinda ghetto but I fixed my 190E's regulator with a screen door wheel that matched the OD. Drilled it out and bolted it on, worked great but will not pass concours :-(

They will have that type of wheel at Lowes or HD, Ace Hardware, or on the C R Lawrence website.

Now those are good tips! Right up my alley, especially the "not concours" part! Thanks.

And lo' and behold, up popped the 928 roller at *********. No dimension given, but it sure looks the same as mine. PET carries it too with the bolt (rivet?) to hold it in place (4 and 5).

Thanks again for the help.
