Help car stays running after pulling key

Ok fellas I just had the retro fuse relays from our host installed today by a reputable Auto electric shop and after picking the car up everything was working fine. I decided to take a quick drive after work this evening but only made it a 1/4 mile when the car just shut off! I pulled into a vacant lot and it fired right up so I figured Id head back to the garage and upon arrival I turned the ignition switch off and pulled the key out but the car stayed running! The only way to shut the car off was by popping the clutch but the pump and alt light stay on so I disconnected the battery.

Please help

JR

What year car? Do you mean the replacement fuse panel with headlight relays?
It sounds like maybe the shop screwed something up or your ignition switch electrical has failed.

Same thing happened to me - but if I took my foot off the brake the car would shut off with the key out. Took me a while to figure this out because you're used to having your foot on the. Take when the car is parked. There was a bad ground in one of my front turn signal housings. Which would also illuminate when the brakes were pressed. I cleaned up the connections in my front driver turn signal housing and made sure everything was grounddd correctly and it fixed my issue! Try it in the garage with the lights off so you can see if the turn signal illuminates.

There are no reported issues with our fuse panels and we have over 300 units installed across all model years.

It does sound like either a wiring error or a ground issue.

I have complete confidence in the product sir just asking if anyone else experience the same issue after the swap, hoping it's something simple.

And so it was a bumped ground during fuse bank install or...? Is the watch a clue?

Would that indicate a grounding problem in the emergency brake light circuit?

I have looked for it on a few cars and have never found it. Doesn't matter anyway, if it's bad it just acts like a normal piece of wire so to speak. You can just splice in a new one behind the gauges.

Reading between the arm hairs, I believe the skullified knife and maybe the watch were lodged into the fuse panel creating the issues. Or maybe it was the key fob, or a comet. Definitely X-files stuff.
