Tony,
There's two of us (possibly three) that was interested in attending Monday and Tuesday May 8-9.
I see now where you have cancelled those two days. Neither of us would be able to attend the May 4-5 class. Would you reconsider opening the May 8-9 Monday Tuesday class for the next few weeks? I will understand if you have to cancel because of low attendance.

It's rarther not so easy to get this 2-3 days organized and fly from Europe hence will you have maybe some kind of digital version of your workshop.
Would love to rebuild my engine as currently its in parts and i'm on tight budget.

Cancellation of the 2023 Engine Rebuilding Workshop.......

To All Participants,

Please be advised that the coming 2023 Engine Rebuilding Workshop is cancelled. After discussing with my family, we decided that it would be best to cancel or postpone the Workshop.

I sent emails to everyone on the list and if I missed someone, please accept my apology. Thank you.

Tony,
I’m local in Philadelphia and just stumbled upon your engine classes only to find out they are cancelled. I have a 3.2 Carrera engine on the stand and will be pulling the heads this weekend. Would love the chance to talk to you. Let me know if you are open to a call. My direct email is john.barun@yahoo.com.
Thanks!
John

Too Late For Fall Sessions………

I just got an email today from someone from Europe wanting to attend the Engine Rebuilding Workshop next year in 2024. I told him to reserve 3 days and I would give him one on one engine rebuilding lessons. If some people could attend that’s great. Now that my 3-car garage is almost finished, I have a place to conduct the workshop without worrying for the expensive room rental.

Transporting the motors and setting the venue is too much work for me. And taking them back home is something I don’t want to do again. I am very fortunate that I still able to do the things I like at my age and share my experience with fellow enthusiasts. It is too late now to do it this year. Probably the earliest schedule would be in April or May of 2024.

Tony

I would be 'in' for 2024 also if possible!

gdp_samson 08-29-2023 01:52 AM

I'm the European guy that desperately wants to join, but I have to schedule this in with some US meetings (and that's not clear yet) so don't wait for me if Tony can arrange new classes earlier...;)

GDP,

In my last email to you, I stated very clearly to find a 3-day schedule that you could attend during your trip to United States except in the winter time. The 3-car garage that I have is not heated and no AC. So the weather is a big factor for choosing the dates of the workshop. Spring and fall time are the ideal times to do the classes. And some interested members could still not attend due to some conflict in schedule.

Let me know what dates you could attend and hope some people could attend with you. I am willing to accommodate you and who ever wants to come. And have to check with my wife that we are not traveling on the dates you are coming. Think about it and PM me. This is not a business venture and doing it simply because of my passion about engine rebuilding and sharing my experience with the participants.

And thanks for those who have expressed their interests to attend the next Engine Rebuilding Workshop in April/May 2024. As of today, no dates yet until after I checked with the wife (boss). Thanks.

Tony
