Cool I need to open my darn window

Is there anyway to touch the pin contacts with a wire to open and close my power window motor..I cleaned my toggle switch contacts to no avail..Before I messed with it, the window was working (slow) but at least it opened..

did you put the switches back together correctly? if you reverse one or both of the contacts, the switch will not work properly

the 5 pins on the toggle swith will only go in the harness one way..I,m now thinking that the power motor is shot, but I still would like to short the switch so I can see if the motor will work at all

i meant actually taking the switch apart, as in exposing the innards, not just taking the switch out of the retainer.

Right - you can put the internals back together the wrong way around. The PO of my 944 had done this on the passenger side switch.
