OK, for the purists out there, the universe is aligned again. It was off the car the next day. I posted this in back Mar '08. Car has changed alot since then.
Guess I should have posted removal instructions, my bad.

I applaud your sense of humor. Why not debadge the entire car and replace the Porsche badges with, say, Daewoo or Hyundai? Maybe even Ferrari (since it seems more than a few folks think 944s are Italian.

I did find a 944 badge though - minus the 9, since my car number is 44, I stuck it on the bumper for luck.

I recognized that turbo badge! I used to have a Saab 900 Turbo, it was the worst car I have ever owned, though it was mildly quick.
