My daily driver/ project car. Euro bumper is being primed, turbo nose panel on it's way. Bilstein HD's shocks waiting to be put on, still deciding on coil-overs. Turbo twists rims waiting to be painted. M030 sways in front and rear.

That looks exactly how mine looked when I first got it!!

You win!
Love the rear spoiler and the flares. Great looking car!

Here's a few of mine. Haven't had time to return the front wheels to the original color yet (they take almost a full day each to strip and paint/sand/paint/sand....), so i've just been driving it!
I have a lower lip to install too. Just need more time...

^ Chris, are those the 18x8.5 front and 18x11 rear 996 turbo wheels? What tire sizes are you running on the front and back? It will look great once the fronts match the rears!

I have been busy w/ other projects and haven't done much w/ the 84 in the last year or so. I put a whopping 400 miles on it in the last 18 months. I did clean up a few things. I removed the Fiberwerks front end and had it reapinted then did a 3M clear bra on it. That big flat front is horrible for rock chips. The car still runs great. Nothing too exotic: 3 liter crank, Lindsey rail and regulator, all new belts, hoses, injectors, etc, MSDS headers, mini CAT that has been cleared out, stock muffler, I went back to a stock air box and K&N filter vs the cone and it seems to runs better when it's hot. I am running both a Schnell rear short shift and a SFR front one so the throw is maybe 3 inches. You literally never move your arm on the console. I got the R-134 conversion done and the A/C is actually respectable. Too many other previous thing to list. I also just stuck new hides on and the handling w/ the 17" wheeels, turbo sway bars, Koni Yellows, adjustable springs, etc is as would be expected.

at home w/ it's siblings

teaching them young

some of the goodies that went in

These turned out pretty good for a do it myself project. I know there is a big debate on white vs whatever color gauge but I like these. I resprayed the inside w/ chrome paint in a can and got new bulbs, works great for me

Are the wheel arches from Broadfoot or GT racing? Looks very well put together. Did you do this or buy it like this? Post some more pics and mod list + how the dyno went.

Pretty much stock

Here's my mostly stock 944, which has been in the family since new.
I washed it more than I drove it back in the 80's, now I drive it more than I wash it!

The great thing about owning it now, is that I can do some of the things to it that I wanted to do years ago. But now, it is a completely different car compared to the modern competition, so I enjoy it more for what it is, than what I imagined it could be.

You can see a bit of smoke in the background from one of the latest lightning strike fire in the Bitterroot's - got caught in the lighting and rain last night on a mountain bike ride, and knew there'd be a fire or two (9 to be exact), the next day.

A a tribute to the "agony and the extacy" engine rebuild with a few never before released director's cut pics.

Alusil vs. scotchbrite/AN-30 glamor shot.

A last parting shot...

My custom mild intake porting job.

After a spontaneous decision turned all nighter to file smooth, sand, and polish the cam housing.

She's about to be reunited with her new heart and soul... It's been a very long and difficult project by this point. I've had multiple very stressful possible end of life evaluations for her on the matter and ultimately decided I must go through with it, so this pic holds alot of emotional value.

Finally as it should be!

Thanks BP11 and yes, it's original. The photos don't do the car justice because when you resize the photos, to insert them into the thread, they appear grainy and clarity is lost. I was hoping that the shot that contains the reflection of the palm tree would help demonstrate just how amazing the paint is. That said, I'm not afraid to drive her. I try to avoid gravel and dump trucks the best I can. Most times I keep my fingers crossed.
