This is the proper battery hold down for your 924,you will notice a treaded stud in your battery compartement this will slip over it & just fasten it down with the rigth size washer & nut.If missing you can buy it rigth here on Pelican (New Parts Catalog) going for $12.00 at the same time may I suggest a battery matt (install it in the battery compartement before lowering the battery in) in case of spill it will absorbe acid -water & keep moisture out ($4.95) had one in my 944 for year & the battery compartement still look new .
